Project description
In Stafford County, this infinity-edge pool and separate spa were built between the home and a renovated pool house, with a three-foot grade difference between the structures. The layout makes the waterfall visible from the home.

The pool has an illuminated weir wall and catch pool, a tanning shelf, and a bench running along its length. The patio is travertine over a concrete base, with stone, coping, and travertine from Stone Center.
Infinity edge, spa, and finishes
The pool and spa each have an automatic cover. The pool finish is Tahoe Blue Diamond Brite Quartz, supplied by SGM. The catch-pool and weir-wall lighting adds another feature to the water edge after dark.

Planning a similar layout
- Review the space between buildings, grade changes, and the location of the catch pool.
- Plan pool and spa covers separately; a cover does not automatically replace a fence.
- Coordinate stone, coping, patio, and finish selections with the site.
