This project used a reverse bond beam to address a steep grade and limited space around the pool. The beam keeps the adjacent ground below pool level and is finished with stone.

The pool structure was used in place of a retaining wall on this site. Raised and reverse bond beams can also shape levels, seating, or planting areas, depending on the yard and design.
