This beautiful swimming pool & spa project located in Fredericksburg VA was the result of a failed fiberglass pool.  The owners had contracted and built a fiberglass pool from another pool contractor.  In a few years the pool bottom floated and rendered the fiberglass swimming pool unusable.  The fiberglass contractor had then gone out of business, leaving the homeowners to fend for themselves.  The customer contracted The Pool Company Construction to remove the existing fiberglass swimming pool and install a new more durable Gunite pool.  The original design had a spa on the opposing end of the pool.  The new design moved the spa closer to the home and we installed a raised bond beam with stone face on the original side of the pool that had the spa.  We then installed water features in the wall to create a tranquil oasis for the homeowners.  We used walnut travertine pool coping from the Stone Center of Fredericksburg.  The pool plaster is River Rok Harbor Grey, which gives the pool water that fantastic color.  

In order for any of that to happen we had to demo the existing fiberglass pool, the pool patio, remove all electric, remove all the existing plumbing and haul it away.  Due to this we developed a check list for any homeowner considering purchasing a pool.  This check list will help protect you from the fly by night contractor.  

The Pool Company Construction in collaboration with Greensward Landscaping and Grey Stone Stamped Concrete built this beautiful swimming pool, pavilion and fire pit.   This project located in King George VA was built into the side of a hill.  The site had huge grade challenges that was met with a retaining wall, raised bond beam, and reverse bond beam.  We were able to layer the pool site by utilizing the pool and retaining walls in order to deal with huge grade slope in the yard.  The swimming pool has stacked stone facing, tanning shelf, quartz plaster, stamped concrete patio, fire pit, and pavilion.  

This beautiful Gunite swimming pool was constructed on the Potomac River in King George VA.  This freeform designed pool has an oversized tanning shelf in front of the spa.  It has LED bubblers in the tanning shelf that offer a fun water feature for the kids and soft white noise for the adults.  The raised spa has natural stone facing and spills over into the tanning shelf area.  The pool patio is a gorgeous marble travertine.  The pool plaster is Quartz Scapes Midnight Blue, which gives the water a beautiful inviting deep blue color.  This pool setting looking out onto the Potomac River is just the right place to enjoy the weekend and unwind.  Here at The Pool Company Construction we strive to design a pool that fits into the natural setting while complementing the home.  We try to design an outdoor living space that can accommodate both entertaining as well as a shelter to just get away and shove off the problems of the day.  The pool equipment is energy star rated, which helps keep the cost of running the pool to a minimum.  All pool equipment used on the pool is Pentair Products.  Check out https://www.pentairpool.com to view all Pentair pool products and their benefit.
